If I had to name this season, it would definitely be the season of uncomfortability. As this year slowly comes to an end, I can honestly say I will feel a sense of relief and peace. This season has been beyond uncomfortable and when I say uncomfortable I mean:

🦋constantly being told no

🦋getting a rejection to something you wanted badly

🦋losing friends

🦋falling out with family

🦋a lot of alone time (good and bad)

🦋 breakups

🦋 mourning deaths

🦋 feeling like you aren’t doing enough

🦋 not accomplishing certain goals

🦋being pushed out of your comfort zone

🦋trying to find your purpose

🦋trying to be perfect, etc.

There is a lot that ties into this. This season of uncomfortability could have been a positive or negative thing and for some both. People tend to forget that you have to be put in certain situations to grow and to learn. If life was perfect no one would grow, learn, change or excel. I can honestly say that every trial I have been through this year has contributed to my growth in some way shape or form. When returning back to school in August, I received a call that I lost my cousin in a terrible car accident, I was rejected from internships and scholarships this year that left me feeling discouraged, I cried myself to sleep almost every night in the beginning of the semester due to being home sick and missing my family and my boyfriend and I dealt with the stress of school and the falling out of many friendships. At the end of the day, I know God would not put me through all of this for no reason. There is a reason for everything and this will all contribute to my success in 2020 AND this will be apart of my testimony. When you go through things and overcome them, it is such a great feeling because you can mentor and give advice to the next person and that is what life is all about.

We need to understand that what we want isn’t always what we need, so stay calm and be patient through it all. Remain faithful and trust that our plan isn’t always Gods plan so trust him and live life everyday like it’s your last because tomorrow is not promised. We need to start loving on one another, checking on eachother and making sure everyone in your circle is okay because you never know what someone is going through. There have been many days where I’ve covered up my pain with a smile so check on your STRONG friends and family members.

Stop thinking when will it be my turn and start speaking positive affirmations into your life because 2020 will be our winning season. Goodbye to the season of uncomfortability and say hello to the winning season!!!!!!!

LIFT YOUR HEAD UP AND:

🦋keep applying for jobs and internships

🦋 STOP waiting and start your business

🦋 reach out and apologize to that person you hurt and ask for forgiveness

🦋STOP waiting and go to the gym because you can do it

🦋 BOOK THAT TRIP

🦋 Do whatever it is that YOU wanna do and do it happily because once again YOU CAN DO IT.

Prayer: Father God, first and foremost thank you for everything. Lord I ask that you cover each person that is reading this post and cover their family members Lord. I thank you for everything you already have planned for us and for everything you’re doing now. Lord we may not understand many things now but help us to stay faithful and strong during difficult times. I ask you to open doors for each and every person reading this, I ask you to fill their hearts with love and their minds with peace and positivity. Lord you know many of us are trying and I just ask that you guide us. We are grateful for you Lord and I ask that you guide us to keep pushing and walking in your path and not ours... in Jesus name we pray AMEN.
